University workers protested this July 9 to demand better wages, after calling for days of unemployment in the last two weeks, a demand that nurses, doctors and workers of the health sector have been making since June 25 in the middle of the serious economic crisis of the country. After an assembly of workers, they blocked one of the main avenues and highways of Caracas, in the center of the city.
"There is no education with hunger and misery" was the slogan.
