The designated attorney general confirmed the death of 68 inmates in the cells of the General Command of Policarabobo. During an escape attempt, the detainees set fire to the mattresses and stole a gun from a policeman. Relatives tried to enter the police headquarters and during the struggle a policeman was wounded with a stone. The protest was dispersed with tear gas bombs.
